Shubh Mehta is a student at Hill Spring International School, currently serving as Head Boy and previously as the House Captain. With a strong interest in technology, leadership, and social impact, Shubh founded Takniki Kala – The Art of Technology in Grade 9 with a clear goal: to make digital literacy accessible to every child, regardless of their background.

The initiative began at home, where Shubh started by teaching basic computer skills to the children of his househelp. What started as a few informal lessons gradually evolved into structured sessions for students in under-resourced communities. Today, Takniki Kala has reached hundreds of children and received support for its growing efforts to bridge the digital divide. Outside of his work with Takniki Kala, Shubh enjoys writing and exploring creative expression.

He is the author of a published techno-thriller novel, participates actively in school-based theatre, debate, and public speaking, and has represented his school at national and international academic events. He also continues to explore real-world learning through summer programs and internships in the fields of technology and innovation. Shubh’s approach is driven by curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to long-term impact. Through Takniki Kala, he hopes to continue building inclusive spaces where students can discover the power of technology, gain confidence, and open new doors for their future.
